Ciaran is a mental health nurse working in Galway Roscommon Mental Health Services. His current role in practice development includes facilitating clinical supervision for nurses in all divisions and for other disciplines in multidisciplinary teams. As a mental health nurse Ciaran has a wide experience in acute inpatient and community mental health. He has a keen interest in working with staff in the helping professions through facilitating either group or individual clinical supervision.
Ciaran co facilitates the Professional Credit Award (Clinical Supervision) in the University of Galway and was published in 2024 with a systematic review of nurses and midwives experience of clinical supervision.

Ciaran is currently based in Galway.

Patricia (Trish) Hurley

Trish Hurley is a qualified supervisor with a background in nursing, health promotion, and early intervention. Her career spans acute care, community-based work, and infant mental health.
Trish offers reflective supervision grounded in whole-person care, relational depth, and ethical practice. She creates a calm, collaborative space for professionals across disciplines to grow, reflect, and sustain wellbeing.

Qualifications:
BSc Nursing, University College Cork.
Master’s in Health Promotion, University College Cork
Professional Diploma in Clinical Supervision, Dublin City University (DCU), Level 9
Registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
